There are many different types of doulas. In my case, my doula care provides physical and emotional support throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, alongside practical education throughout the journey and advocacy for your vision.
Studies show when birthing people have a doula they are:
39% less likely to have a cesarean birth
15% more likely to have a spontaneous vaginal birth
10% less likely to use pain medication
31% less likely to report being dissatisfied with their birth experience
(Bohren, M. A., Hofmeyr, G. J., Sakala, C., Fukuzawa, R. K., & Cuthbert, A. (2017). Continuous support for women during childbirth.Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, 7(7).)
Research also points to the benefits of a postpartum doula:
Reduced postpartum depression and anxiety (and therefore, more “happy hormones” that help bonding with baby)
Improved breastfeeding success
Smoother physical recovery

They say that the first 40 days after birth, or the Fourth Trimester, lays the foundation for the next 40 years of life. I truly believe that proper postpartum care, nourishment, presence, and attention is essential for a mother’s lifetime wellness. The moments after new life is born is also the moment a mother is born, or reborn. We must tend to the mother’s new life as lovingly as we do our children. I believe this intention fosters healthier families, healthier communities, and a healthier world.

Ayurveda is known as “the Mother of all healing.” It is one of the oldest healing modalities, originating in India. Ayurveda is a preventative, holistic medicine model, similarly to other eastern health systems like Traditional Chinese Medicine. Ayurveda emphasizes the power of syncing with nature, food and herbs, medicinal oils, loving touch, intentional movement (like yoga)—to promote vitality in the body, mind, and spirit. It’s a perfect pair for postpartum care, since the spices and warming foods of Ayurveda soothe and ground mommas in the postpartum window.

I am currently working on becoming more accessible to clients by providing insurance coverage for my services.
At this time, all payments are made directly to me via Zelle. All payments are typically made upfront, however, we can work to find a payment plan comfortable for you and your family if needed.
Before any payments are made, I will send over a contract for your review. This is where we will confirm a payment plan if requested.

I take clients year-round. Prenatal and postpartum visits can happen any day of the week — Fridays, weekends, and weekday evenings tend to work best for my schedule, with early mornings (6–9am) also available if that's easier for your family.
Once I'm on call for your birth, everything else takes a back seat — you and your baby come first. I also keep a trusted backup doula on standby in case of illness or emergency, so you're never without support.
